NETWORK SPEED TESTER

NETWORK SPEED TESTER

About Network Speed Tester

A browser-first network measurement tool with clear evidence boundaries, synthetic workloads and private local test history.

Why this tool exists

A large download number alone cannot explain every poor connection experience. Network Speed Tester brings throughput, browser-observed responsiveness and synthetic application workloads into one dashboard so you can make more controlled comparisons.

Our approach

Measurements should show their limitations. An unavailable result is preferable to an invented measurement. Browser results should not be presented as direct knowledge of a router, Wi-Fi radio, mesh satellite or physical ISP node. Results are saved locally, and tests require user action.

Public beta status

The current release is a public beta. Core browser and controlled-endpoint mechanics have local automated and browser checks, but independent WAN calibration, hardware qualification and several deeper integrations remain open. Publication is not a claim that every planned capability is complete.

Learn and compare

Use the guides to understand speed, latency and controlled Wi-Fi comparisons. Keep the same device and settings when comparing runs, and retain the context alongside exported results. The methodology page records the measurement boundaries.
